THE KAUFFOLD AGENCY

The Kauffold Agency began in 1955 when William A. Kauffold bought into the Hahn-Rummel Agency in Sebewaing, Michigan. Since that time two sons have joined the agency. In 1970 William H. Kauffold joined the agency followed by Randall C.Kauffold in 1979. The agency expanded in 1985 when they purchased the Robert McLean Agency in Caseville Michigan. In November of 1991 William A. Kauffold passed away.

In 1992 the Kauffold Agency purchased the Raymond Fiebig Agency in Sebewaing and in 2003 purchased the Bailey Agency in Pigeon Michigan. The Kauffold agency presently has offices in Sebewaing, Caseville and Pigeon, Michigan.

The Agency is a member of the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) and the Professional Insurance Agents (PIA). The Agency holds a Total Quality Agency (TQA) Designation. Few agencies in the state hold the TQA Designation.

Bill Kauffold

Bill joined the agency in 1970. He works as an agent mainly in charge of commercial lines. In 1985 he received his Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) designation. In 1991, he and his brother purchased the agency from their father. Today, most of his time is spent on agency administration and commercial lines. His hobbies are hunting, fishing, and golfing.

Randy Kauffold

Randy joined the agency in 1979. He primarily is in charge of all personal lines, which includes homeowner, auto and farm. He also assists in the administration of day to day business. Randy obtained a Total Quality Agency (TQA) designation for the agency in 1999. Randy's hobbies include golfing, snowmobiling and reading.

Jody Smith

Jody started with the Kauffold Agency in 1991. Presently she holds her agents license. She obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 1994 and received her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2000. She is responsible for handling customer renewals and endorsements, accounting and claims. She is also responsible for keeping current with computer technology and company enhancements. Jody's hobbies include reading, scrapbooking and family time.

Peggy Parrish

Peggy joined the agency in 1994. She is a graduate of Owendale High School and attended the Saginaw Business Institute. Her duties consist of computer entry of policies and policy endorsements. She assists in claims handling and accounting. Peggy works at our Caseville Office three days a week. Her favorite hobbies are bowling, reading, and she enjoys traveling.

Ardra Schaaf

Ardra works at the Bailey Agency in Pigeon MI. She started her career with the Bailey Agency in 1974. Her numerous duties in the office include policy changes, claims, and accounting. She is a valuable employee at the Pigeon office location due to her knowledge of the insurance business. Ardra is a graduate of Maclean College of Secretarial Science in Detroit. Her hobbies include playing bridge, family genealogy, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Lynette Kauffold

Lynette joined the agency in 2006. She works in the Sebewaing Office three days a week. She assists in policy renewals, endorsements and claims. She enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her three children.
